Kwale County Governor Fatuma Achani has officially inaugurated the Bofu Dam treatment facilities and the rising main pipeline water project.
This milestone includes the installation of a 20m³ per hour composite filtration unit at Mchekenzi in Kasemeni Ward, which is already operational and benefiting the local community.
Governor Achani also emphasized her commitment to empowering women-owned businesses by facilitating their partnerships with the County. These businesses are enthusiastic about collaborating on future projects, further contributing to the region’s development.
The new water treatment facilities are expected to significantly improve water access and quality for residents, marking a crucial step forward in Kwale County’s infrastructure and community support efforts.
