The Republic of Seychelles and Turkmenistan have officially established diplomatic relations, marking a significant milestone in bilateral ties. The formalization occurred during a signing ceremony held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Protocol of establishment was signed by Mr. Gervais Moumou, the Ambassador of the Republic of Seychelles in the UAE with jurisdiction over Turkmenistan, and H.E. Mr. Serdarmämmet Garajaýew, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan. This event symbolizes the beginning of a new era of cooperation and mutual benefits between the two nations.
