The African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) in collaboration with Media for Peace, is set to host a training seminar for journalists on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Sahel region.
The event will take place on July 9-10, 2024, in Maroua, the capital of the Far North Region of Cameroon.
This initiative, supported by the AUB within the framework of its AI Observatory in Africa, aims to enhance the skills of media professionals in utilizing AI, a tool that is increasingly becoming indispensable in today’s media landscape.
Chaired by Midjiyawa Bakari, the Governor of the Far North Region of Cameroon, the seminar will gather training experts, media and communication professionals, and representatives from the African Union of Broadcasting and Media for Peace.
