Police in Trans Mara West Sub County are investigating a tragic incident in which a 33-year-old man was allegedly killed by his brother at their home in Enoretet village.
County Police Commander Riko Ngare reported that the two brothers were engaged in a fight over unknown issues when Leteipa Kipkuro was fatally stabbed in the pelvic area by his brother, Peter Kipkuro.
Leteipa was rushed to Trans Mara West Sub County Hospital in Kilgoris town, where he was pronounced dead by doctors due to excessive bleeding. The body is currently preserved at Kilgoris Mission Hospital mortuary, awaiting a postmortem examination.
Commander Ngare confirmed that the suspect has been arrested along with the suspected murder weapon. The suspect is currently being interrogated and will be charged in a court of law.
