Community Health Promoters (CHP) in Nyandarua County have gone on strike over unpaid dues that have been outstanding for the past eight months. On Monday, 1,372 CHPs marched from JM County Referral Hospital to Governor Kiarie Badilisha's office to protest the non-payment of their stipends. Despite their efforts, they were unable to secure a meeting with any county officials to address their grievances.
