A suspected narcotics trafficker is currently detained at a Nairobi police station following a significant interception along the Eastern bypass.

Solomon Mutuma Mutiiria was apprehended by Anti-Narcotics detectives based on actionable intelligence, resulting in the recovery of Cannabis Sativa with an estimated street value of Sh 600,000.

The operation unfolded as detectives intercepted Mutiiria en route to Kiaruguru area in Ruiru Sub County. A thorough search of his vehicle, registered under Reg. No. KCR 411F, led to the discovery of the illicit substance concealed in four bales within a gunny bag.
