Kenyan rapper Nyamari Ongegu, also known as Nyashinski, has released a diss track titled “Silencer” aimed at his longtime producer Cedo.
Nyashinski criticizes Cedo for his ‘greed’, accusing him of being foolish and a ‘snake’ obsessed with a large payday.
“Ni stupid ku argue na fools, so siwezi argue na fool, nakaanga cool, naona masnake wameona cheque wakaanza kudrool ni ka wako ma shrooms, naangusha chwani unaona plateau..” he opens the rap song’s with an intro.
According to a Nairobi News article dated June 13, 2024, Nyashinski and his longtime friend and producer Cedo had a falling out over a multimillion-dollar deal, which resulted in Nyash pulling down 20 of his popular songs from Spotify and Apple Music.
