A massive landslide has struck Baringo North Sub County, displacing 22 households and causing extensive damage to farms, food crops, and tree plantations. The landslide occurred on Monday night in Kapkwang village, Kabartonjo ward, sweeping away homes and essential facilities such as latrines and water systems, leaving many families homeless. The county's head of disaster and response management, Michael Baimet, visited the affected area to assess the damage.
