Death Toll Rises to 39 in Kenya’s Anti-Finance Bill Protests, KNCHR Reports

The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) has reported that at least 39 people have died and 361 have been injured since the onset of anti-finance bill protests across the country. According to the latest data, Nairobi recorded the highest number of deaths at 17, followed by Uasin Gishu with four, and Nakuru and Mombasa each reporting three. Kisumu had two fatalities, while Kisii, Siaya, Kiambu, Kakamega, Nandi, Narok, and Laikipia each reported one death.
