Rwandan President Paul Kagame Dismisses Over 200 Military Officers in Major Shake-Up

Rwandan President Paul Kagame has dismissed more than 21 senior and junior officers from the Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF). Among those dismissed are Major General Martin Nzaramba and Colonel Dr. Etienne Uwimana. Additionally, contracts of 195 other ranks within the RDF have been revoked, marking a considerable reshuffle within the nation's military. The second day of the ongoing Northern Corridor Integration Projects (NCIPs) meetings at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda, has marked a pivotal moment in the implementation of directives from the 14th NCIPs Heads of State Summit. The meetings focused on the Single Customs Territory (SCT) and the Immigration, Tourism, Trade, Labour, and Services (ITTLS) cluster.
