The government has restored peace and calm in the volatile 68-kilometer Malaso-Morijo belt along the border of Samburu and Baringo Counties following rampant cattle rustling in the last one year. Samburu County Commissioner (CC) John Cheruiyot said that a multi-agency security operation has seen the reduction of cattle rustling incidences between communities from the two counties that often left a trail of death and destruction.
