The Tana Water Works Development Agency, the country's leading water and sanitation agency, has unveiled an ambitious five-year strategic plan aimed at enhancing water and sanitation services in the Mountain region. The plan, with an estimated budget of nearly KSh64 billion, was launched during a colorful ceremony at Bantu Africa Resort and Spa near Nyeri town. The strategic plan targets over four million residents across Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, and Tharaka Nithi counties.
