Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has raised serious concerns about the unequal distribution of resources, which he believes has significantly hindered development in Western Kenya. Governor Natembeya pointed to a recent allocation disparity as a stark example of this inequity. While the Kikuyu constituency received KSh. 1.5 billion for road construction, the entire Western region was allocated only KSh. 200 million for similar projects.
