Vincent Chepkwony, a security guard stationed at Java House on Kimathi Street, Nairobi, who was fired for sheltering and shielding members of the public from harm during the anti-Finance Bill 2024 demonstrations, has been reinstated. Chepkwony has also been awarded the highest honour, commendation, and recognition for a private security officer in Kenya.
