AUE Leader His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a significant phone call today with Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan. The discussion centered on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing the ongoing crisis in Sudan.
During the call, Sheikh Mohamed and General Al-Burhan explored ways to strengthen ties between the UAE and Sudan and discussed the current situation in Sudan. Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting Sudan through its challenges, emphasizing the country’s dedication to aiding in the stabilization and development of Sudan.
“The UAE is keen to support all solutions and initiatives aimed at halting the escalation and resolving the crisis in Sudan,” His Highness said. “Our goal is to contribute to enhancing Sudan’s stability and security, and to help fulfill the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity.”
Sheikh Mohamed stressed the importance of peaceful dialogue as a means to safeguard Sudan’s supreme interests and maintain its security and stability. He also reiterated the UAE’s continued commitment to humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people.
